Jake was a lucky dog today. He went on 2 walks. I took him on a walk this afternoon. Yes, in the freezing cold! Then C took him on a walk this evening. Of course she walked him around the inside of the house and used a rope toy instead of a leash.

All By Herself
Most days I am the one that gets C dressed. Sometimes I give her 2 options and let her pick which outfit she wants to wear. This morning I asked Jeremy to get her dressed. What a surprise it was when she came back into our bedroom. She proudly told me that she had picked out the outfit all be herself.

I think she did a pretty good job. Makes me even more aware that my baby is growing up.

He Did What?!
On Saturday C was looking out the front door and saying she wanted to go play in the snow. I told her that if she wanted to do that she had to put her shoes on first. Daddy overheard me and said "Let's just go barefoot." C got really excited and said "Okay." I gave Jeremy a look that said don't do it. But he didn't listen. Poor C had no idea what she was getting herself into.

When C got inside she kept saying her feet were cold. Then she started saying they hurt. J ran upstairs to get in the shower. C didn't want to go. She threw herself on the bed and started howling and grabbing her feet. I tried to grab them in my hands to warm them up but she kept kicking me away. She carried on like this for 5 minutes. Finally she sat up and said "That wasn't fun." Later Jeremy told me that he didn't realize it would hurt so bad so quickly. He also assured me that C would never venture outside without her shoes on again!

Half Birthday
Today C is 3.5 years old. It sounds like such a long time to say it. But it has gone by super fast. She got to celebrate her half birthday at preschool. Her teachers gave her this hat and she wore proudly.

I let her have a lunch of her choosing. She chose cheeseburgers and french fries. Then she got to eat part of a cupcake that her teachers sent home with her. Mommy got to eat the other (bigger) part!

When I was emptying C's backpack, I found this sweet gift from her teachers.

It's a book!

Too bad she closed her eyes at the last minute.

Much better.

We got a couple of inches of snow last night, so she happily played in it 3 different times today. I had given her a big bowl and a ladle and she was a happy girl. She filled the bowl with snow and told me that it was spaghetti. Then she added meatballs (rocks) that she found.

Doesn't it look yummy?

Warming up with some hot chocolate.

C, I can not believe you are 3.5 years old. You are such a happy girl. You still have a deep love for books and can spend hours "reading" them and having them read to you. You love to sing, dance and make up stories. You love preschool and ask to go everyday. You love playing with and loving on Jake. You love to play hide and seek and tag. You still love Mickey Mouse and his gang. You love Dora and her friends too. You love playing with your baby dolls and all your stuffed animals. You are so much fun to be around and keep your daddy and I smiling and laughing. We love you this much!!

As Requested
As requested by a few of you here are some more pictures of C. Some of them date all the way back to early December. So this was a good way to get them all on here.

C and her best friend Maryn after their preschool Christmas concert.

At preschool waiting for the Jingle Bell Jump to start. The kids were given bells to wear and then they jumped up and down for 1 song. Pledges were made and the money raised went to the children's arthritis foundation.
Beautiful girl after the jumping.

I was getting the guest room ready for Sparky and Pops for Christmas. C spotted the sombrero and requested to wear it.

Aunt Mo Mo's & Uncle E's Shout Outs
When all the family was here for Christmas, Aunt Mo Mo and Uncle E had to share a bathroom with C. There are some bath tub crayons in there and apparently they found them. Each day there would be new graffiti on the walls.

C has an extra special relationship with her Aunt Mo Mo. She adores her and always learns so many new silly songs and games from her. Oh yeah and jokes.!!Thanks for loving my girl the way you do Mo Mo!
The one from the last day made me smile.

He's So Pretty
Last night C was playing with Jake and kept giggling. Then she called me to come see him. She told me she was helping Jake play with all his toys. Then she said "Mommy, I helped make Jake look so pretty."
