Time For The Tooth Fairy

C has had a loose tooth for a few months now. I sent her to bed wound 7:45 and she came out around 8pm saying she wanted us to pull her tooth out. Jeremy was not home and i tried unsuccessfully for over 30 minutes. But could not pull it out. Needless to say I am a wimp when it comes to things like this!  When Daddy arrived home around 9pm, he tried for about 5 minutes and finally pulled it out with a string.

The tooth was so ready to come out. In fact it had already started to turn blue/black at the bottom.

Lots of tears and a bit of crying.

And then a happy girl!! She was so excited that the tooth fairy left her a golden chocolate coin. That is all she wanted. The tooth fairy also left her a book and $2. She saw the book and $2 first and threw them on the floor. She could have cared less. She wanted that chocolate coin!

C is the last of all her friends to loose a tooth. But i told her that she would catch up soon as 3 others are loose!

A Rocking Weekend

I have been running off and on since college. My best friend Jenn has started running in the last few years. We live on different sides of the country and have never ran a race together. I heard of a run obstacle challenge type race that was coming to Phoenix over my birthday weekend (a few weeks back)  and Jenn decided to come run it with me. Our theme was Supermoms.

Amber also ran it with us. I guess I can admit we did not run it. We walked it. The obstacles were very fun. They had slides, water pits, moon walks, rope swings. But they were exhausting us. So to be honest there was not much running. But we had such a fun time.

When we got home from our race and showered Jeremy treated us all to a surprise pedicure. And I mean all of us!

He even got one! Those are his yellow and black painted toes!

Jeremy and C surprised me with balloons, cake and lottery scratch off tickets over the weekend.

He spent $50 on the scratch off tickets and I am happy to say i won $85 off of them!

Saturday was a busy day. Later that night Jenn and I had dinner out with a bunch of my girlfriends at the neighborhood grill. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunset.

I am so lucky to had Jenn as my very best friend. And have all these other wonderful ladies as friends here. I know our whole family has been blessed with the friendships we have made here in AZ.

On Sunday Jeremy took us for a drive to check out some tourist areas. We checked out a old ghost town and even got to see a cowboy gun fight. On Monday my actual birthday, Jenn and I spent the day shopping and eating.  Then she took us out to eat Hibachi that night. I had a wonderful birthday weekend. I am so thankful that I got to spend it with so many of the people I love. And a huge thank you to Jenn who flew across the country to spend it with me!

A Very Late Halloween

Our neighborhood hosted a fun Halloween party this year. They had games, face painting, food and dancing. We had such a fun time. C the cheetah and one her best friends Sofia as a changeling. If you don't know what a Changeling is, lucky for you! That means you don't have to watch a lot of My Little Pony shows at your house.

I made some cake pops for C's teachers.

The goody bag I gave to C's teacher. It said "Trick or Treat, smell my feet. No really. Go ahead. Smell Them."  It had a foot scrub, foot lotion and pretty polish in it. She loved it!

Lately when I take C's picture she loves to give me silly dance poses.

I realized those pants were way too short on her after she got dressed.

C had some fun activities at school on the day after Halloween.  Her teacher called it a pumpkin fest party. I got to go and help out with the games. It was a fun afternoon. I am so thankful that C still wants me to visit her class. I know the day will come when she will not want me there.

Finally it was time to go get candy. Our cute little Rainbow Dash pony. Her good friend Sofia had the same costume. They are both obsessed with My Little Pony's!

A blurry, group shot of all the kids before we headed out.

Amber (in the middle) hosted a fabulous Halloween party. So thankful for these 2 ladies.

And my crazy family. Jeremy was a redneck and I was an undead pirate. We had a super fun time celebrating with our friends this year.

Fall Fun

One Friday night when Jeremy had some work commitments C and I got to have a girls night out.  We enjoyed Starbucks while getting our toes/feet pampered.

C had never had a professional pedicure before and loved every minute of it.

One day after school we checked out a pumpkin patch with some friends. The girls had so much fun running around. You have no idea how hard it was to get them to pose for this picture!

C loved feeding and petting the goats.

I think they were trying to coax the sheep to close so they could pet it.

Yes it is Fall. And yes we are still wearing tank tops and shorts.

Our sweet friend Emari had a birthday play date at the park one Friday after school. The sprinklers came on and much to all the moms dismay, the kids had a blast running in them.

Once they all were soaking wet, they realized how cold it was. No one had any towels so they were trying to warm up in the sun.

We are still involved in Girl Scouts.

One afternoon C was being really quiet. When she came to talk to me at the computer, this is what i saw. She had been playing with a pen and had written all over herself. Bath time that evening was not fun!

I have been at my part time job for almost 3 months now. Jeremy has been great when I have to work on the weekends. Him and C have spent some really good father/daughter time together while I work. He took her to a car race.

They went to see the Diamond backs play with Sierra and her daddy.

They went to the children's museum and finished the day off with the best pizza in Phoenix.

I am thankful for my job, but even more thankful that C gets to spend quality time with Jeremy while I am working.
