Just Some Cute Pictures
Trying to take a nap on Jake. It is blurry because Jake was trying to get her off him.
These two are best friends.
One day after lunch C spent some time making animal faces at me. I think she was being a giraffe here. Or maybe a cat and trying to lick me. I don't remember.
She came down from quiet time like this. She told me that it was time to have a Easter princess tea party.

C rocking baby Tegan. She told me that baby Tegan was very cranky and would not stop crying. So she was rocking her and singing to her. It was very sweet.

Easter Activities
We've had a week full of fun Easter activities. One morning we went to a play date at our friend Stephanie's house. She had 6 kids over between the ages of 2-4. All the kids got to dye eggs, go on an egg hunt and of course play with all the toys. C found a car and was so excited that she could drive it inside.
Yesterday morning we went to an egg hunt with our moms group. There were about 30 moms, dads and all their kids. The rain finally stopped and the sun came out.

It was a perfect day to be outside, looking for eggs.

We Have A Winner
If you remember C entered a coloring contest at a local grocery store last week. Well they called us on Thursday and told us that she had won a prize for her age group which was 0-3. They did not tell us if she won first place and I did forget to ask. But we were both just excited that she won at all.

Spring Playdate
Tuesday was a rainy, windy, cold day. To us it didn't matter because I had invited a few of C's girlfriends over for a spring/Easter play date. The night before C helped me stuff the goodie bags.
We did a bunny craft, which I did not take a picture of. Then the girls played for a bit. Here they are doing the "bunny hop". They hopped all over the place like this. Not a great picture but they were constantly in motion.
This was C's. The kids had fun making them and they were easy. But we quickly learned that none of the kids were a fan of the coconut that we used as the fur. We found half eaten cupcakes on all the plates. Live and learn!

Parent/Teacher Conference
Last week was parent/teacher conference at C's pre-school. I think C is a very smart, polite, kind child. I was curious to see if she was perceived the same way at school. The first photo is from her first day of school back in September. Obviously the teachers made a mistake on her weight. I love how she spelled her name back then!
This photo was from October. Her self portrait is interesting to say the least.
In this photo the kids had to cut out the strips on the dotted line, then listen to a story and glue the pictures in the right order on the page. She did a really good job cutting considering she never uses scissors at home.
Below is different areas she was evaluated on. I like the last one. Especially her coming to the art table more. Lately at home she has taken more of an interest in painting, drawing and coloring.
This last photo was from last week. The children were asked to write their name at the top of the paper and then draw themselves. She's come a long way since September!
The teacher told me that C is very polite, always helps clean up and waits her turn. She told me that if C is having a disagreement or argument with another child over a toy that she does not snatch the toy away from the kid or fight with the kid. She will always just come tell the teacher that "so and so is not sharing". I was also told that C is more than on track for kindergarten. She understands and comprehends much more than lots of the other kids in her class. I knew C was a smart cookie, but it is nice for others to realize it as well!

Picture Parade
Here's a picture parade with tons of pictures.
The night before my surgery Jeremy took C out to eat at Boo Boo's Dawghouse. I love it when he takes her out on little dates--just the 2 of them.
We went to a birthday party at Krispy Kreme's. The kids got a tour of the facility and then they all got to decorate a donut.
Where's the donut?
Her creation. It was yummy!
We went to another birthday party at Chuckee Cheese's.
Riding the roller coaster with Collin.
Enjoying the birthday cupcake.
She has gotten really good at pedaling her tricycle by herself. It's kind of a blurry shot as she was in motion.

At Buffalo Wild Wings watching a movie on the IPhone and waiting for her food.
Her princess shirt, I got her for Disney World.
