Chandler is 8!!

The night before Chandler's birthday she had a sleepover with one of her best friends, Sophia. I let her choose dinner and she chose pizza with slurpees and then a movie at home.

Her birthday theme was the same as last year, SpongeBob. She still loves that show. Jeremy went to an authentic Mexican piñata store and requested SpongeBob. Look how big that thing was!

I scoured the Internet for SpongeBob treats and found how to make Krabby Patties. I think they looked awesome and they tasted even better!

We couldn't find a SpongeBob cake in a store that we liked, so I made one and Jeremy decorated it in less than 10 minutes. Pretty talented!

We had a pool party. I hired a babysitter to be with Cameron during the party, so I could focus solely on Chandler. They swam, played pool games and then finally was time for the piñata whacking! All the kids got a turn and it still wasn't busted.

So daddy had to take a turn. And then sadly that was the end of SpongeBob!

She got the fake glasses as a gift. Apparently they are all the rage now!

Her gift from us was we let her get her ears pierced. She cried as they were marking the holes and then when it came time to pierce them she didn't even flinch. Such a silly girl!

At 8 years old, Chandler is 49 lbs and almost 49 inches tall. She is about to start 3rd grade. She loves to dance and sing. She loves doing gymnastics on her trampoline. She is obsessed with Beanie Boos. She loves to watch scary movies and play Animal Jam on the computer. She is smart, sweet, sensitive and funny. And she adores her little sister! Happy birthday baby girl. We are SO proud of who you are becoming. We adore you and love you to the moon and back!

Cameron is 8 months old!

I can hardly believe that Cameron is 8 months. These last 8 months have just flown by! They have gone so quickly.

She is turning into a toddler more everyday. She sat in a high chair for the first time this month. She has also started teething a lot.

She loves her teething biscuits. Or actually anything she can put into her mouth!

She has started to wave bye bye when we are leaving. She can clap when we ask her to. She also learned a game that we call Stinky Feet. We will ask her " who has stinky feet" then she sticks her foot in our face and we smell them and pretend they stink and she thinks we are so funny and laughs at us. It's pretty darn cute.

Chandler continues to be the best big sister in the world. She is so sweet with Cameron. They adore each other. In fact when ever Cameron cries, Chandler will cry for her too. And vice versa.

Cameron's favorite toy continues to be her Good Neigh-bear she got from our Statefarm agent. She sleeps with it every night. As soon as I put her in her crib and give it to her, she grabs it and snuggles up to it!

We adore you Cameron and love watching you grow and explore the world around you!

Cameron is 7 months old

How can it be that our girl is 7 months old?! She has finally mastered sitting up on her own with no support.  When she is playing on the floor with her toys, she can scoot around on her tummy to get whatever toy she wants.

She is still angreat sleeper. She takes 2 long naps a day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. And most days takes a cat nap in the car around lunchtime.  We spend most our days at home or running errands or cleaning. But occasionally we join big sister at school for lunch. Chandler loves when we surprise her at lunch.

Waiting for big sister's class to head to the cafeteria.

She loves to get in the water and float around. She is a water baby just like her daddy and sister.

She is very attached to me and definitely a momma's girl!

Cameron is 6 months old!

Cameron is 6 months old! How can she be half a yr old already??!!

She continues to grow like a weed!  She weighs  17.2 lbs which is the 75% and is 27 inches which is 90th%!! She is tall like her daddy.  She now wears 12 months clothing.

This was the month she dropped her 4 am feeding and routinely began sleeping through the night. She goes to bed around 7:30 and gets up around 6. It is early but I will take it for a full nights sleep.  Sometimes she will cry out in the middle of the night.  We are trying to let her learn to soothe herself but sometimes we have to just go plug her up with a pacifier.

She is working on sitting up by herself. She can do it a few minutes at a time. We also are working on riding in the shopping cart like a big girl.

She is talking a lot!  Is very vocal! She loves when big sister reads to her or pays any type of attention to her.

She has begun to notice Jake and loves to watch him and try to pet him. She laughs when he licks her.   I am trying to teach her to pet Jake gently, but in the meantime Jake is an angel and let's her poke him in the eye and pull his fur. He is so wonderful with my girls!

Cameron is 5 months old!!

Cameron is 5 months old!! She has begun to get into a nice routine. She wakes up around 4 am every night to eat. The Dr told me to not give her a full bottle during that feeding so she will begin to not want that feeding and eventually drop it. She normally takes 3 naps a day. One nap about 2--2.5 hrs after she wakes up. This nap can last from 1-2 hours. She normally takes a cat-nap around lunchtime, while we are out running errands. Then she takes an afternoon nap for about an hour or so.

This is the month she became a tummy sleeper. We always put her to bed on her back but usually she immediately rolls right over onto her tummy. The first few nights I was really concerned and kept waking up constantly to check her on. But I soon realized that is just how she likes to sleep.

She is growing like a weed and has moved up into size 3 diapers. She is currently wearing 9-12 month clothing. So much for buying her clothing ahead when it was on sale. Good thing I kept all the tags on so hopefully I can sell them on eBay and get some $$ back!

Cameron has finally begun to notice Jake. Jake loves Cameron and wants to be wherever she is. He is such a sweet brother dog!

Jeremy and I had our first date night out this month.  We had some friends Alicia and Rick graciously offer to watch the girls for us. We dropped them off and headed to a SUNS game. I was very anxious and must have texted Alicia 50 times. But apparently my little girl wasn't missing me at all!

She remains to be a happy, easy, loving baby!

Life Lately

Chandler is doing Girl Scouts for the 3rd year in a row. This year she is a Brownie. And we are just wrapping up cookie season. Last year she sold 85 boxes. We thought that was a lot. Well this year she sold 204!!  She worked a few booths.

She had her own booth at the library one afternoon and also went door to door in our neighborhood.

She helped me make deliveries. And we even had some sweet family and friends from afar donate boxes to a local charity.  She is quite the little salesperson and is very brave asking all these strangers to buy cookies. So proud of her!

Chandler had a big milestone recently. She lost her first, top front tooth. It was barely hanging on by one teeny root. So Daddy tied a string around it to yank it out and she started crying.  Eventually he convinced her to let him pull it.

And she was so proud and couldn't wait to show all her friends at Girl Scouts that night! Now the other front tooth is going to fall out any day. I can't wait to see my toothless girl!

Chandler is rocking the 2nd grade. She got her report card and again got straight A's and only 2 B's. She is in the enrichment class this year and we can really tell. She is already learning multiplication and division. Normally they teach that in 3rd grade at her school. I don't learn that until 4th grade. She is so smart. Her reading is out of this world! She loves to read and probably reads 4 chapter books a week.

Another brag on this beautiful, smart girl! For the 2nd year in a row she got entered into a writing contest. Out of 120 kids in the 2nd grade, they choose only 5. And Chandler was one of them. She got entered for a story she wrote called "My Sister". I haven't read it yet, but she told me it is all about Cameron. (Heart melting here)

On New Years Eve Chandler had a sleepover with her best friend Sophia. The next day Jeremy took them 1 1/2 hr north to go sledding. Look at that snow! They had a wonderful time.

I have finally adjusted to my new buddy who goes everywhere with me. I never liked grocery shopping and now i dread it.

After i have Cameron in the cart, there is no room for the groceries!

Poor girl is lucky those bags are not on top of her!  Luckily Jeremy has been taking up the chore of the big grocery shopping trip. I only have to go for the little things we run out of now.

Exercising is different now too. Now I have 2 buddies to take with me. I have lost most of the baby weight but still trying to get the body back. Definitely much harder the second time around and when you are over 40!

I have said it before, Chandler is an awesome big sister. She happily shares all her toys with Cameron.

My sweet, sleepy girl.

Chandler loves to read to Cameron. This was my sweet girls on Valentines night. Chandler was rocking and reading to Cameron. And Cameron was loving it. LOVE my girls!!

Cameron is 4 months!

Cameron is 4 months old! I can hardly believe it!

Waiting at the Dr's office for her 4 month check up. Chandler loves being a big sister and is such a huge helper to me when we are out and about. Cameron weighs 15 lbs and measured 24.75 inches!

This month she began eating solid foods. The first one we fed her was sweet potatoes, which was the first solid food that Chandler had too!  Cameron loved it!  She is drinking about 6 bottles a day, about every 3.5-4 hours.  Most nights she is only waking up 1 time.

She is a very happy baby! A very smiley baby. If you smile at her she will most likely smile back at you. She has begun making lots of noise and started "talking" a lot.  She normally only cries when she needs something, like food, diaper change, a nap.

We adore her and are are so thankful for our little miracle!
